- ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪ ✪I had the flu, but with my preexisting conditions of fibromyalgia and a very large hernia, my pain levels were through the roof so I was crying and instead of being compassionate, the nurse practitioner told me to calm down and be a big girl, people get the flu all the time...the audacity of people to just assume that I am just being a cry baby!
